Another capability Tools Inc. has to offer is that of laser cutting; by employing this
technology at Tools Inc., we can extend cost savings to our customers when
conventional trim dies are not justified by product quantity or geometry. Our four
5-axis laser machine centers are capable of producing up to 3500 watts of power
and can cut steel up to .325” thick and aluminum or stainless up to .125” thick.

Providing this service also allows for multiple configurations of the same product
family without the additional cost of generating a new trim die when your product
evolves beyond its present incarnation. To ensure consistency of product configuration
from one lot to the next, an etched master is developed as a reference and is utilized
as validation during the laser setup process.
